Part of our unique presentation
at Red Wolf is our yurt accommodations. Yurts are circular structures,
often with a one room open concept. Yurts have been used for
centuries by nomadic people, and they still continue to be used
today in some regions of the world. Choose to stay in our authentic
Mongolian yurt, which displays traditional furniture, or relax
in our modern yurt, which is equipped with contemporary furniture.
Red Wolf Retreat has a traditional and modern yurt on site.
The insulated walls and roof make them cozy and warm in winter,
while window, dome and door openings allow for cross-ventilation
and cool breezes in the summer. Inside, the rafters are made
from ecologically harvested timber and the buildings cause no
permanent damage to the land.
Yurting (staying in a yurt) provides for a unique experience
and the opportunity to live close to nature. Yurts are also much
sought-after places for yoga and meditation given their comfortable
surroundings and the fact that they have no corners. |
